A good CD, especially if you like the movie. The "bonus" tracks of the starts of certain songs was okay, but adds an extra special feeling to to it.
I really loved this item. I wanted to purchase the music since I was a little girl and I kept getting the "broadway version" but in the end this is the best. If you like Alan Menken's Music my suggestion is to go for this.
I also like that there is so much dialogue within the soundtrack. I don't know why I waited so long to buy the soundtrack for this movie. Also, having never seen the special edition of the movie, I had never heard the track "Human Again". I first saw the movie probably 15 years ago, and among Disney films, the story is one of my favorites. The music (both the songs with lyrics and the score) is a great reflection of the story line itself: the humor, the romance, the action, and even the sad parts. That was a fun song, remeniscent of "Be Our Guest". Overall, a wonderful album for fans of Disney films and music.
I received the soundtrack very quickly from momzmedia. I needed it fast for a gift, and they got it to me fast. Great transaction.
But I think both are worth it. Well this clears things up a bit. If you loved this one, and have never heard the Beauty&Beast Broadway version, it's rather charming, too. I didn't recall buying the original broadway production, and that's 'cause I bought this one, although I received the Broadway version. Guess I'll have to give it another go. So, I liked it enough, apparently to try to buy it twice. lol(bought from go-hastings, check your products from there twice, 'kay).
